Their ancestral spirits suddenly and abruptly lost all tethers of worship that kept them holy and good, and began to fall into madness, corrupting and turning into Oni. Now the bands of Oni have begun sowing discontent across the nation. Seven Samurai stand to stop them, but their order is still weak and recovering after the war: so they have had to summon help from far off lands
